CALCULATING WEIGHT LOSS PERCENTAGE

Total Weight Loss ÷ Starting Weight = Percentage of Weight Loss

Example 1:
Initial weigh in at 250 pounds, Final weigh in at 225 pounds.

250 (Initial Weigh In) – 225(Final Weigh In) = 25 (Total Weight Loss)

25 (Total Weight Loss) ÷ 250 (Initial Weigh In) = 0.10 = 10% (Weight Loss Percentage)

Example 2:
Initial weigh in at 155 pounds, Final weigh in at 135 pounds.

155 (Initial Weigh In) – 135(Final Weigh In) = 20 (Total Weight Loss)

20 (Total Weight Loss) ÷ 155 (Initial Weigh In) = 0.13 = 13% (Weight Loss Percentage)
